If you are wondering why there is a picture of a guy dressed up by Satan under the title of Lets talk about sex, I'm about to tell you...
First of all the guy is my husband John. Our Pastor is doing a series of messages on sex Sunday mornings. John volunteered to play the devil in the skits they are doing preceeding the message.
The first message was actually titled The Greatest Sex You Will Ever Have. In the first skit we had the devil coming out to let everyone know the Pastor was going to tell us what the Bible says about sex and how he, the devil, knows better.
The second message was called The Language of Lust, which is what this picture is taken from. In this scenario a man and woman are preparing for a date. The devil bounces from the girl to the guy planting thoughts about what dating is all about and how to make sure you get "some". After the skit is over the Pastor came out to talk about lust and how it rules the lives of so many people, including Christians.
The world says sex is for anyone with anyone and it's all about the physical pleasure and getting what you want regardless of the cost. God says He created sex and it is not dirty or simply a physical desire we have no control over. It is suppose to be a beautiful expression of love between a husband and wife. God created it for our enjoyment within the bounds of marriage.
I loved the idea of a church taking on this topic. It is about time the truth was taught within the church today. There is so much deception in the world today, especially when it comes to sex.
